The founders of Eclipse are partners and comrades who have been working in the IT business for many years. People with a math mindset, creative thinking and ambitious plans, and in love with wine. Before starting the construction
of their winery, they gained valuable experience by visiting iconic wineries in California, France and Italy.
Eclipse employs an international team of engineers, technologists, oenologists, sommeliers, IT and SMM specialists, photographers from Georgia, Poland, Ukraine, UAE, Italy, Russia.

WHO ARE WE?

OUR LOCATION

Eclipse Winery is located in the heart of the famous
----wine-growing region of Georgia and, in our opinion, in the heart
--------of the world - in the Alazani Valley, in Kakheti (Kindzmarauli zone).
----------Above our vineyards there is a Nekres monastery
------------with a small church of the 4th century and a beautiful view
-------------of the Alazani Valley, and next to it are the ruins
--------------of an ancient pagan temple of the Sun.

------------The total vineyard area is 35 hectares on 4 plots near
----------Nekresi, Sanavardo, Kuchatani and the Bursa river.

----The winery is located in a vineyard, which aims to shorten
the road from the vineyard to production as much as possible.

The Alazani Valley is surrounded by the slopes of the Gombori Range and the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Range; in terms of climate, it is very similar to the Napa Valley in California. The land is very rich in different types of soil, there are about 10 varieties. Our Saperavi grows in the “Kindzmarauli zone” - this is one of the best terroirs for this variety. Nowhere else does Saperavi collect so much sugar and produce such exceptional wines. Grapes have been grown on these lands for a very long time, many vines are over 30 years old!.

In 2019, in the Italian nursery in Rauscedo, we purchased vine plants of Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as local vine plants of Kisi, Khikhvi and Mtsvane. In upcoming year, we add Mtsvivani Kakhuri to our collection, this an autochthon is practically not left in Georgia. All the vine plants have taken root and are already bearing fruit. We carefully process the grapes: we spray them against pests, tie them up and cut them. The vine plants are in perfect condition. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, as in all the best farms. We carefully
put the berries in small boxes so as not to damage them and deliver them to the winery along the same perfectly flat road. The harvest goes into production in the best possible condition and is immediately processed. This is one of the main factors affecting the quality of wine.

HARVEST 2020

2020 was a very successful year in terms of weather conditions for the Alazani Valley. All summer, it rained every 10-15 days, and 20 days before the harvest were very sunny. The first white wines of the 2020 harvest: Tsiskari, Alioni, Feliz rosé and Esabi the red.

ALIONI

ALIONI

Alioni 2020 is a dry white wine made from 100% Kisi. Hand picking in 20kg boxes, debourbage, fermentation in stainless steel, malolactic fermentation and aging in steel for 6 months. Brilliant pale lemon color, with a light aroma of citruses, white peaches, dried apricots and plant notes of young greenery, as well as incredibly refreshing acidity. On the palate is a juicy green apple, a balanced, medium-length finish. Ideal gastronomic wine due to its good acidity.
